Christa Marie Beacham
CLASSES TAUGHT: Ballet & Pointe
Christa Beacham A.R.A.D., is originally from Colorado, where with “Distinction”, she became an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance (A.R.A.D.), as well as passed many examinations through the Cecchetti Council of America (CCA). She also trained in London, England, at The Royal Ballet School and Royal Academy of Dance. At age 16, Christa was a finalist at the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) competition in New York, and moved to train on scholarship with The Washington School of Ballet. While in Washington D.C., she enjoyed dancing with The Washington Ballet at the Kennedy Center and finished her pre-professional training, on scholarship, at the Maryland Youth Ballet. With final studies as well, at the School of AmericanBallet (SAB) and Kaatsbaan programs in New York. Christa began her professional career at the age of 18 and was a company member for the Texas Ballet Theater until 2007. Christa continues as Principal Guest Artist, and performs alongside her Husband, Shannon Beacham in many different venues. Their four children light up their lives. After having taught for over ten years, Christa enjoys teaching and subbing at the Ballet Conservatory. Christa is grateful and blessed to be able to do the things she loves with people she loves.
