5 Week Workshop Intensive

June 17 - July 18 Ballet Level 2 & up Workshop Performance July 18 at Time TBA MCL Grand Theater

WORKSHOP FACULTY MEMBERS INCLUDE:  Kelly Lannin-Director, Nancy Loch,  Janet Waters, Liuba Kozireva Paterson, Shanon Tate, Jaiquan Laurencin, Kelsey Rhinehelder and  Bonnie Ambrose – Pilates/Yoga.

Once again, we have reserved the Main Stage at the MCL Grand Workshop once again for Summer Workshop Performance!!!  The performance will be Wednesday evening, July 18 from 7 to 8:15 pm with Dress Rehearsal  at  4 pm on the same day. Dancers will need to bring a light, high energy snack and water that day to the theater as there is no time to go home or leave between the dress and the performance. The performance is free so invite your family and friends! Costumes are simple and something we can put together using what we have so there is no additional expense for costumes. Most performance pieces are only for those who can attend all 4 weeks for your level.  However, sometimes there are opportunities for students to perform a choreography assignment, character dance, mime, or variation even if they are not here for the entire 4 weeks so let your teachers know when they ask if you will be here the week of the performance and if you are able to perform. The individual teachers will have the final decision on to whether a student is prepared enough to perform their dance. Dancers who are here all 4 weeks will perform in all dances their group performs.

Colored Leotards will not be required this year because of the shorter Workshop. Levels A, B, C will wear black or white and Levels D and E/F may wear any solid color leotard for class. However, everyone will need a black camisole leotard and short black skirt as a base for the performance. Dancers in C, D and E/F will require a black leotard, black character skirt and black character heels for Character Class and Flamenco Class. Flamenco class is NEW this year!!! Please go to En L’air to order these if you do not already have.
