Brianna Cattell

​

​Brianna Johnson Cattell is a seasoned dance educator and choreographer with a lifelong passion for movement and the performing arts. A native of the Lewisville area, she began her dance training at the age of four and has remained deeply immersed in the dance community ever since.
Following her early training, Brianna continued to refine her artistry and performance skills with a variety of professional dance companies, including Ewert & Company, Nance Dance, N2It Dance Company and Co-Directed SalseraStyles Performance Company and Academy Dancers Youth Ensemble.

 

During her collegiate years, she had the privilege of studying under renowned
choreographers and artists such as Mia Michaels, Greg Russell, Teresa Espinosa, Max Stone, and members of the internationally acclaimed Tap Dogs. Brianna’s choreographic work is both diverse and impactful. Her credits include performances for the American College Dance Festival Association (ACDFA), multiple appearances at the Move to Groove Ball, televised dance segments for D’Town Nights, and events hosted by the Dallas Dance Council such as National Tap Celebration and Dance Planet. She has also created featured solos for the Body Art Ball International Tour, along with numerous private and promotional events. As a guest choreographer, she has contributed to programs at Righetti High School in Santa Barbara, California, The North Hills School in Texas and Brookhaven College. Her work has earned recognition and awards at both regional and national levels of competitive dance.

Brianna began teaching at just 15 years old and has been sharing her knowledge and passion with students ever since. Known for her energetic, student-centered approach, she is especially committed to nurturing young dancers. Her extensive teaching experience throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex has given her a broad perspective on the physical, emotional, and creative benefits of dance. Brianna is devoted to inspiring her students and helping them grow
not only as dancers but as confident individuals.

Brianna taught on the Ballet Conservatory Faculty from 2012 to 2022 and we are so excited to be welcoming her back for her 11th year at BC!
