Lisa Genovese
CLASSES TAUGHT: Ballet, Twinkle Dance, Tap, and Jazz.
Lisa Genovese started dancing at Ballet Conservatory at the age of 3. She studied all forms of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, and Hip Hop. She was a part of IDC, LBT2 and LBT. While dancing with LBT she had the opportunity to dance in Dracula, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Coppelia, and Paquita. At age 15, her family moved to Tyler and she continued her training at Tyler Junior College Academy of Dance where she danced in their pre-professional program and performed the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy from “The Nutcracker” in her senior year. After she graduated, she accepted an invitation to train and perform with Sacramento Ballet Second Company as a Trainee where she was excited to perform Swan Lake Pas de Trois. With Sacramento Ballet Main Company, she performed in Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Beer and Ballet, and Cinderella. She also worked at the front desk, and ran children dance camps for the School of Sacramento Ballet teaching ballet and jazz. After two years in Sacramento she has returned to Lewisville to be back near family and is thrilled to be able to continue her own dancing with LBT as an adult member. She is very excited for her new role at Ballet Conservatory and to be able to teach the next generation of BC dancers!
