Denise Clarkston

 

CLASSES TAUGHT: TAP, CONDITIONING

 

Ms. Clarkston has been dancing since the age of 7. She enjoys teaching Tap and Modern at Ballet Conservatory. Ms. Clarkston’s training was with Mildred Chaffin, in Sherman, and Marge Ann McMillan at Stephen F. Austin University where she graduated with a degree in Health, P.E. and Dance. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree from North Texas University in Exercise Physiology. Ms. Clarkston performed for 7 years with LakeCities Ballet Theatre and was known for her energetic role as “Russian” in the Nutcracker. She continues to perform with LBT as an exciting character dancer and is now known for her portrayal as the Gypsy Matriach in Dracula. Denise is also a retired Exercise Physiologist.
